Lost setons???

Hello. I'm kind of freaking out. I had four setons for rectovaginal fistulas. The setons were plastic. I just woke up and two of them are gone!!! I started vedolizumab about a month ago and it had done wonders for my fistulas. It has been amazing.

But I am freaked out bc the setons are gone. I checked my bed and the bathroom etc. They're not there. Which makes me conclude that maybe they're stuck inside me...

Help!!!!

Setons can work their way around. Take a warm sitz bath and see if they come down but if not call your surgeon. I think you would feel it if it were floating around somewhere it shouldn't be.

I had a similar incident & checked everywhere thinking they were gone..Not sure what happened but they were stuck inside me. I had a sudden onset of discomfort & then realized they had worked there way inside. They did come back down by days end. I thought they had perhaps fell out inthe bathroom or bed as well..Hope they have reappeared!
