What type of alcohol does everyone recommend with crohns, like which would technically put the least strain on our bowels?

however, as far as "recommending" which alcoholic drink is suitable for a Crohn's sufferer - i doubt if any of us would actually recommend any for another patient. alcohol is avoided by many of us as it has proved to cause more problems than it's worth... those of us who do drink alcohol have probably found one kind which is less severe than another - but like many things with Crohn's, what suits one does not necessarily suit another.
any suggestions given in this thread, or in fact throughout the forum, are just that - suggestions and/or experience - not recommendations.
