Finally we have MRE results

After waiting 3 months the radiologist has finally reviewed my daughters MRE results. He said there was no disease in the small bowel, no narrowing,
strictures or fistulas. So for now she doesn't need another MRE...

This was what the first radiologist said.
There is moderate colonic faecal loading present.
The known cohns disease of the colon cannot be well appreciated.
There is no small bowel dialation. No pericolic flexion.
COMMENT:Crohns disease cannot be well appreciated. This would not exclude crohns disease however should exclude complications such as significant stenosis or obstruction.

9 months since diagnosed and i'm still a little bit in denial. I'm still hoping they got this all wrong....but i know they haven't...

Is this feeling normal?

It does get easier to accept but it's very slow going! It's been well over a year and there's still a little part of me that still hopes to hear 'it's all a mistake'.

Lots of hugs...

Soooooo good to hear there are no complications Mum.

Denial??? Never! You wouldn't believe the things I tried to convince myself Matt may have had just so I didn't have to face the reality of Crohn's! Yep, as normal as the day as the day is long.
