When did you see help for your Crohn's with Humira?

Ileostomy surgery July 2015

Current Meds: None!
Previous Meds: Humira, Remicade, Methotrexate, Cipro, Flagyl, Zofran, Cortifoam, 5-ASA suppository, Questran, Mezavant, EEN (Peptamen Jr. 1.5) by NG tube, Antibiotic Cocktail (Vancomycin, Metronidazole & Doxycycline), Simponi, Prevacid, Imuran, prednisone

15 days. Unfortunately I couldn't keep taking it due to it causing recurring upper respiratory infections. Helped the diarrhea, mucus, joint and abdominal pain completely after 15 days (right after the loading doses).

Diagnosis: Crohn's in 1991 at age 9
Surgeries: 1 Small Bowel Resection in 1999; Central IV in 1991-92
Meds for CD: 6MP 75mg
Things I take: Tenormin 25mg (PVCs and Tachycardia), Junel (endometriosis), Tylenol 3 (Osteoarthritis), Zantac 150mg 2/day (acid reflux), Klonopin 1mg (Panic Disorder), Imitrex 25mg (migraines), Zofran 8mg (nausea)
Currently in: REMISSION Thought it was a flare but it's just scar tissue from my resection. Dealing with a stricture. Remission from my resection, 19 years and counting.

My Support Groups:
I felt much better by 4 weeks and in complete remission after 12 weeks. Sadly, I had to come off due to severe back pain (doctor said it only occurred in 2% of people taking it in trials but hey! someone has to make up the 2%, right!) and fatigue it caused.

I will try Remicade next!

I hope your daughter has great, fast results! I know a lot of people have found great relief with Humira!!!

My Support Groups:
it never really took full effect for me, was taking it for a year with flares before my colon perfed. Doctor D/C'd it after that

Diagnosed with Crohns Disease in January 2012.

Colon Perforated March 2013, total of 3 feet of intestine removed and temp ileostomy placed.
ileostomy take down March 2014
Hernia repair June 2015 in surgical area from 2 prior surgeries
Perianal abscess found Feb 2017 with subsequent fistula discovery & seton placement March 2017 w/2 additional seton drains placed May 2017
Have surgery pending to remove gallbladder & repair hernia along a prior surgical site.

My Support Groups:
Been 8 weeks and still waiting for me.

I thought I saw an improvement after my first loading dose but since then I cant say I have noticed any difference,

I am staying hopeful it will work
