Er

Afraid of misdiagnosis - please help

My partner is having excruciating pain like his intestine is going to explode, bleeding and having water come out "its not really stool, its just water". He is in the ER for 13 hours now and he is gonna be there till the next day. They don't know whats going on, the tests and blood work are not showing anything and the rectoscopy they did was not clear so they couldn't see what was wrong. I am really afraid that they will misdiagnose him or want part of his digestive system removed. Did anyone else experience the same episodes in one day? and what it is exactly? He has Crohn's for about 4 years now.

Sorry for the late reply Dreamer. How is he doing now? Was it an obstruction? Did they do a CT scan?

Thank you everyone for the replay. After 28 hours in the hospital, the GI said it was an obstruction and now he is put back on steroids.
