Hi, My names Ronnie, I am 33 and have had crohns for 14 yrs. (am a girlie by the way). I am on mezalazine by the way.

I have had 3 lots of stomach surgery including small intestine reseciton.(sp) and am currently as in remission as my body lets me.

Quick query last week whenever i went to the toilet i was bleeding from my behind. I have had loose bowels for 14 years so not as if i have been straining. Think i have piles. bleeding has stopped but everytime i open my bowels i am in agony and als in a lot of pain afterwards. Is it worth
a) bothering my dr
b) calling my ibd nurse to see if i need to see the specialist

Cheers guys

Hey Ronster - glad the news was good - but what the heck is piles? I haven't heard that one before.

Hi Shantel
