I don't because I have not found one that I am happy about. All they do is make me feel like crap so I don't take them.

I've been taking them everyday since October with no side-effects. I've yet to catch a cold or the flu so far.

I used to, but currently do not. I may start again, but want to find an alternative to the brand name ones I had used in the past. I do not really know how effective they really are (supposedly they are chemical based and do not absorb well) so I will keep everyone updated if/when I find something else.

Mike I am looking for the same thing. I used to poop out the multivitamins that I took so I don't take them anymore.

I take Forvia. It's the best one I have found that absorbs well, ect. You can order it online at www.forvia.com. It's a little on the expensive side but it's specially made for crohns patients and it does the job. It has actually helped with the D too so may be worth trying if you are looking for a good one that works well.

I take a multi-vitamin when I remember or when my bowels will take 'em easily. I usually take the One a Day Active that has Ginseng, which does seem to help give me pep and it's an antioxidant. I tend to take some of the herbal energizers like Ginseng, guarana, and the like. I've got little vials of Chinese Ginseng and royal jelly that I take when I'm really dragged out. I still try to take vitamins even when I can't take the big multi-vitamins by buying some Flintstone's chewables. You don't have to worry about them getting stuck because they didn't digest all the way.

For the last week I have been trying a new multi called Bion 3 which also contains probiotics. It's supposed to help especially when you are taking antibiotics (I was on a Cipro course). I can't say if it's helping yet, but my body seems to tolerate it well (but then I can also tolerate Centrum)

Comment in regards to Forvia that Tonya mentioned: Don't get the chewables!!! They taste terrible!!!! Stick to the swallow ones, they are cheaper too.
I too take vitamins daily, I feel extra run down if I don't. |
