I am currently taking Iran and have been monitoring my blood work. Currently my lymphocyte count is down to 9L according to my blood test. Last week it was 16L. What is a safe count for lymphocytes? What is dangerous?

Hi,

It's really a question for your Doctor and you need to be careful about the units quoted. For what it's worth, my bloods show the the normal range as being 1.0 to 4.8x10^9/L. Alternative measures quote a value expressed as a percentage of the total white cell count, typically 16 to 45%, but the values quoted vary quite a lot.
