Surveillance colonoscopy?
How frequently does your doc do this? Does he or she do this at all?

Usually every other year....but if something were to come up I am sure he would schedule one asap.

I havent had one since I was diagnosed in 2001. I have however had several examinations up the back end whilst under anaesthetic so thats probaby why.

My doc only does them when he thinks something is seriously wrong. I have terrible anxiety disorders and he knows it's a very traumatic thing for me to go thru, so he doesn't do it on a regular basis. Thank God! I hate those things.
I wish they'd hurry up with those little camera's you swallow so we could do away with the barbaric tests they do on us now. |
