Scoped for reversal

I had a scope done yesterday to see if my rectum is healed enough for a ileostomy take down surgery. It has been 3 months since my colectomy surgery. My doc said that my rectum is ALOT better than before, but still has mild inflamation. He thinks that in 3 more months it will be healed and ready for surgery. I'm fine with the outcome. I wasn't expecting to be healed up after just 3 months. I'm still taking my 6mp and feeling great. I'm not sure if I was ready to go through another surgery so soon after the last one anyways.

That is good news that it is looking better. Better not to hurry things anyway and let it keep healing! I hope you keep feeling good.

Thank you everyone At least I can enjoy my summer now. Surgery would have ruined some of my plans.
