Those with CD in their TI...

Those that have been diagnosed with CD in their TI...Did you require surgery?

DIAGNOSED WITH IBS but STILL GOING FOR TESTS
Symptoms:
Diahhrea/Constipation
Abdmonial Pain/Bloating
Difficulty Eating
Weight Loss/Gain
Back Pain
Fatigue
B12 Deficient & Low Iron
Stabbing Pains - LRQ Pain
Groin Pain

BEEN ON -Azathioprine, 6MP, Prednisolone, Pentasa, Budesonide, Metronidazole, Humira, Methotrexate,

NOW ON -Amitriptyline 25mg
21/02/14 Right hemicolectomy surgery

Yep, twice, one at 1993 and the next 2003, omg 2013 (a three! in it) could be the next one, hope not though not much of my Ilem left.

3.5 years happy remission, in mild flare since Feb 2016 with related Portal Vein Thrombosis

Previous: Prednisolone, Mesren, Omeprazole, Infliximab, Azathioprine
Current: Pentasa, Librax, Warfarin

Looks like I'm heading down that path. Flare-ups occurring despite being on Prednisilone and 6MP.

Crohn's - predominantly in the terminal ileum - diagnosed Oct 2010
Ileocolic resection - February 2012
Current Meds - Pentasa granules, 2 g sachet daily.
3 monthly B12 injection. Iron and Vitamin D supplements daily.

They had to take 12" of my small bowel, TI, appendix and an inch of my large bowel. It took the disease 25 years to damage me to that point, though. I consider myself lucky.

I had surgery. Been pain free ever since. 2.5 years woo hoo!!!!

My Support Groups:
I had 2 ft of my small bowel, the TI, and the lower 6 inches of the colon removed.

Surgery Oct 12, 2010

Crohns Medicines:
Started Humira June 22nd, 2011
Increased to weekly injections on November 1st, 2016
Due to the insurance company, Humira ended on January 31, 2017.
Started Entyvio February 9th, 2017
Loperamide 3 capsules twice a day
Vitamin B6, B12, Folic Acid
Vitamin D3 10000 I.U.
Nature Made Multivitamin

150mg Azathioprine maintenance dose
Nexium
Buspar
Zoloft
amlodipine
clonidine
Ferrous Sulfate
Folic acid
multivitamin
Bentyl as needed
Lyrica x2 daily for pain
Norco as needed for pain
Ondansetron as needed for nausea
Miacalcin for the bones
That's a lot of stuff, but I feel good
