cycling

Hi, i am having a colonoscopy today if i get diagnosed with ibd .
I used to do a lot of cycling touring and racing,do any of you do this who have crohns or u/c and how do you find it?.
I want to get fit again do not like gyms or running.
Back in 1984 i cycled from lands end to john o groats in 7 days camping along the way i was fit then i was 21 now i am 48 years old.

My Support Groups:
Mick, I am 58 and cycle regularly on my racing bike. best way to stay fit. Do it on the "good" days, don't push yourself on the "bad" days. Physical fitness helps me deal with Crohn's and being and looking fit gives me an edge on those fat healthy people.

Mind you, I have closed my business and was lucky to be able to dump things I don't need and keep things I enjoy. That old spoon theory again.
