Dr. Livstone is very knowledgeable, and will generally tell you when he is not. He's not a specialist, but is careful about the medications that he prescribes. Perhaps too careful at time. When he is not completely sure about your condition, he will ask you or suggest a second opinion. He understands the pain and complications associated with Crohn's. They have no problem taking phone calls, and you can get a nurse within minutes, if not seconds. The entire office is wonderfully caring. Also, they will take emergencies without a problem. My average appointment lasts about an hour without rushing. Dr. Livstone write everything down, so there is no need to remember or chance to forget.
