Continuing eye issues

Hi guys!

In case anyone was wondering why I've only been on very briefly and not chatting up a storm lately, I'm still having eye issues. I spent most of last week at specialist appointments and eye doctor appointments and basically hiding out in my house avoiding the light that's killing my eyeball! After much debate (3 doctors worth) I finally know what's wrong with my eye! They at first thought it was a virus. When the treatment for that didn't work, they decided to take a closer look. After 2 specialists looked at it, I now have a corneal ulcer. I'm on all kinds of antibiotics trying to shrink the darn thing and get my vision back. You have no idea how hard it is to type with one eye! And the photosensitivity is just annoying now. We're finally getting some decent sunny weather here and I have to have the blinds closed because if I don't, I can't open my eyes at all. I'm hoping the antibiotics will kick in soon. It's been a week since I started them, and there's been some improvement, but the darn thing is being stubborn!

I hate that I don't do anything half assed...lol I give it my all even when I get an infection...lol

Cindy! You dont go halfway do ya? And here I thought you and your eyepatch had gone your separate ways!?

Hope those antibiotics kick in soon too...you said you'd been on them for a week? As in 7 days? And still no improvement?

You must get better soon, Spring is around the corner! Huggles sweetie

Cindy, I just had my eye check up yesterday, and for the first time ever the doc told me about Crohn's patients potential eye problems. All these years and I never knew of these things, and mind you, he only told me because I asked, lol! Keeping my fingers crossed that your antibiotics help soon so you can enjoy some sunshine! Hugs!
