Meditation

There are two books in particular that have changed my life since my diagnosis.

1. Meditation as Medicine, by Dharma Singh Khalsa. He is an anastheisiologist who discovered the healing effects of Kundalini Yoga and has helped many of his patients heal from various diseases. If your city has any Kundalini Yoga training or classes it also might be nice to check that out. Unfortunately there is nothing where I live :|

2. Seven Spiritual Laws of Success, by Deepak Chopra. This book will take you only one hour to read and it contains the most useful information for daily living. He really helps give you an understanding of the universe and your role in it. He discusses how to change your Karma and finding our purpose in life. This book has really changed the way I handle difficult situations and put a lot of things into perspective for me. I really hope you read this book!

Thank you for sharing this info with us. I'll have to check out the books.

I have attended kundalini yoga classes in smaller communities than Calgary. If you do a little more research and ask around at the yoga studios, I think that you might be able to find an instructor.
