This guy did my surgery. I've been seeing him for a few years now. I haven't been able to quite figure him out. You know, surgeons can be tricky. You can never quite know if they are the type to be "surgery happy" for the $$$$$$$, or are actually in it to help sick patients. I don't know, but I think this guy is a little sideways. When speaking to patients he is very straightforward. He is not afraid to lay it on the line. He will tell you what you need straight up. Told me I needed an permanent ostomy. I was pissed at the time and his straightforwardness stung bad!

My surgery turned out good though. He was able to do it laproscopically, which is good. Scars are fairly minimal. He did come see me everyday (except weekends) when I was in the hospital after surgery. So, he doesn't just forget about you once he's done the surgery. When I was in the hospital getting surgery I heard good things about one of his colleagues from a pt. care tech. His name is Bashar Safar. http://wuphysicians.wustl.edu/physic...x?PhysNum=3566. Maybe you can check both these guys out, see what you like.
