Green BM and fecal calprotectin level

So any correlation between stool color and calprotectin levels?

Just curious we are "green" and have to turn in a stool sample.

In our case the sample we turned in was pretty standard color in terms of poop. Lol. Not too light, not too dark. I totally was 100% positive it would be normal but it came back with a level of 944. She has an endoscopy and colonoscopy Tuesday.

Hope this helps!

I don't think so. Alex's is usually light brown, when I check it. but his calprotectin level was high recently. It turned green after his colonscopy, for a couple of days. I read it's green because it passes too quickly to change color.

Stool colour shouldn't affect the test result. Good luck!
