Looks like I'm going to try Cimzia again.

Hey there

Well, back in 2011 after I had my baby my old GI doc started me on Cimzia. I was already having a really rough time and had strictures in my small bowel and was very sick. I only took the loading doses and then the first dose after that. I was taken off of it pretty quickly, because they said since my intestine was so sick with the stictures that it wouldn't help.

Then I had surgery after a bowel obstruction and was put on Tysabri. Tysabri has failed me and now I'm back with my Crohn's relapsed.

Hoping Cimzia does the trick for me this time!

Tysabri was suppose to be my last option before clinical trails, now I'm going to be trying Cimzia one last time before the doc putting me into trials. Hopefully this will work!

Haha, yeah I really need to change that! Since my return, I've found that the Parent's forum now has multiple "Dustys"! It's good she has some help over there

Hope it works for you.

I see my doctor next week and am telling him that the Cimzia isn't working, even after upping the frequency and dose.
Like you, my options are very minimal. I've already been through a trial and it was worthless, so I rather not even do another. Surgery? Not a chance, NOT DOING IT.

This might leave me on my own from a treatment standpoint, but their way wasn't working anyway.

Fingers crossed that you get the relief you/we all need.
