Is this a flare up starting

Can anyone shed some light into my sons symptoms he has been to see his ibd doctor who has sent a stool sample away to be tested results not back yet his crp level is at 39 he is not having any pain or diarrhoea but has had soom blood in his stools feeing very tired energy levels have decreased in the last couple of days doc thinks he may be flaring but not sure waitin on results help.:

Sounds like he may be flaring, my son doesn't always get pain with flares and rarely blood. Most of the time he starts with night time fevers, mouth ulcers, softer bms, severe fatigue and joint pain. Once we had fatigue and joint pain and not until the fecal calprotectin came back really high did the other symptoms start. Hope they get every thing straightened out soon.

Unfortunately, I think it might be the start of a flare. Is he on any maintenance meds?

He is on Azathioprine 50mg and 400 mg of ferrous sulphate.
