My name is Grahame Howard. I suffered Ulcerative Colitis for 10 years until I had to have a permanent ileostomy. Life's much better now although, the psychological issues were enormous at the beginning.
I have published a book that you may be interested in reading. It covers, in an autobiographical way, how I actually coped with the disease and the issues I had to deal with leading to having a stoma. It's a 'How to' and 'I did it this way' book and covers how my Christian faith was a great inspiration at the time.
However, it's good to be here and I look forward to periodical visits and discussions.
