Ostomy belts in UK?

Hello everybody! Does anyone from the UK know where to purchase an ostomy belt? (I think that's what they're called, please correct me if I'm wrong.) I've checked fittleworths but they're not on there. Thanks everyone, hope you're all very well!

Hi Haley, the various stoma supply companies have belts - I have some from welland and some from convatec. They basically clip on to the tabs on the side of your bag.
At the top of the stoma sub forum page there is a 'sticky' with contact numbers of suppliers world wide so you could call some of the companies in the UK. There is another sticky about stoma clothing/covers with info about 'wraps' - this may be what you are after? One of the companies is Awestomy-
http://www.awestomy.com/store/
or you can get pregnancy wraps on ebay I'm told. Not sure if its belts or wraps you are after. I think Salts does both too.
Also the following thread has some links that may be useful

Hope this helps,

hi Hayleymariex is it a belt to support the weight of the stoma bag,
have a look at comfizz as the do different types of supports, like a waistband,
http://www.comfizz.com/products/osto...l1/ladies.html
then go onto Fittleworths order's and choose comfizz as supplier and then pick the band or whatever you want and submit order,i just done it for a waistbelt plus stoma guard, hopefully the order goes through as they say its covered by prescription, which we get free in Scotland
Hope this helps
