Experience with mesalamine enemas?

Stuck in the boring ol' hospital. Bruises all over my arms (ick blood tests and unsuccessful iv's thanks to dehydration)

But have been given mesalamine enemas and am wondering if anyone has experienced this and/or noticed stool change.
I'm still experiencing diarrhea but now it's shaded green/sticky black

Dr said to wait and see what happens

Anyone else done this before?

My Support Groups:
I've used mesalamine enemas before. They were pretty messy! Unfortunately, I don't really remember any change with them. However, if I remember right. Quite often as soon as they were put in me I'd need to go to the bathroom right after.

I hope you'll have better experiences with it though. Good luck. Xxxx
