Fever

Does anyone else get a fever after being active? Mine ranges from 99.4 to 100...I have terrible night sweats but this low grade fever always comes on after I begin my day I.e. housework, getting ready for the day , etc.

Hi heidi.. yes I do.. its like I have a heat intolerance. Naturally as you move around, you will become warmer. But in the last 3yrs I start sweating straight away and become really clammy, its awful.

I think if your body is already dealing with inflammation/disease inside the body.. then it struggles to maintain a normal temperature.

My husband has UC and he gets fevers every time he eats or is active. He also sweats horribly at night. He'll go through 2-5 towels per night trying to stay dry.

Not lately. My thermometer broke and I never got a new one.
I run low all the time 97.3 usually. So afever for me would be lower than most. I bought a chillo "As seen on TV" pillow you fill with water and can put it in the refrigerator and take it to bed to cool off my head and back when I am really hot. It works pretty good.
