Rubber Seton is coming undone

Hi Everyone!

I posted a few months ago re: my first fistula. I had my first surgery 2 weeks ago today where they had to insert a rubber seton (the fistula has gone into my muscle). Anyway, the recovery was going well with the pain subsiding after ten days or so. Today I noticed the seton knot the surgeon tied has come undone completely so I just have the seton hanging loose! I have attempted to tie a couple of knots myself but I can't see them lasting long. What should I do? Go to the docs to get it tied properly? I don't want it to fall out completely and have to have another surgery to get it re-fitted. Any advice would be appreciated

My Support Groups:
I would goto your surgeon, since it may not have closed up they might be able to reinsert it without surgery.
