6MP and Sunlight

Hi,

I am on 50mg 6MP a day. The directions for 6MP are to avoid sunlight and is labelled CYTOTOXIC.

What will actually happens if I get excessive sunlight exposure?

Are the effects temporary, permanent?

I am sort of imagining vampire like effects.

Thanks.

DNA cell damage

As far as the repair, DNA damage does get repaired and there is cell renewal that counteracts it, but if the damage is too severe it does not get repaired, which is how some people on 6MP who don't follow those rules get skin cancer.

So avoid the sun whenever possible and use sunblock.

that sux, I used to like the beach. Not sure if its just a psychological thing but it seems since I have been on 6mp if I'm in the sun for too long I get a bad headache... But then, 6mp gives me a headache most days, just seems worse out in the sun.
