Aluminum and B12 Concerns

B12 is often used for IBD patients. Does the aluminum in many/most of the Cyanocobalamin B12 injectable solutions as a preservative cause any potential long term harm or cause aggravation to nerve damage? If yes, are there any symptoms we should be aware of, or test we should be having to watch for potential damage? Is methylcobalamin a better product and does it also contain aluminum as a preservative? Is the nasal spay as effective?

Thank you in advance.

Can you link me to info from a reputable source about the aluminum content? Thanks!

Hi there, how about this? http://www.drugs.com/pro/cyanocobalamin.html

This is informative - it does state aluminum as an ingredient - however it does not show the amount just as (most of) the vials no longer do.

Thank you for you time, much appreciated.
Peace to you
