So im taking Asacol and prilosec right now, and when i have a stool i see the asacol tabs lol, is that because it is going to be too fast or is that just what happens?

That's probably just the shell casing, they keep their shape when they pass through. If you grab one out you'll see it is empty. Fun project for this afternoon, huh? Report back with your findings!
I had that happen too, and so did Benson - probably not to worry. |

I thought they were coming out too when I took Asacol. My GI said the same thing at MBH. I never fished them out. Probably should have just so I could know once and for all. You never know I could be wondering about it years from now!

As much as it would gross me out to do so myself, I advise going fishing. An acquaintance of mine told me his body actually became intolerant of asacol and started passing the tablets whole. There's no sense in putting $200 worth of medicine down your gullet every month if your body isn't making use of it.

i agree too brad, go fishing!! you have to!
then youll know for sure that its just the shells. if its not for some reason, then its important to know that your meds are getting where they need to be. put on a glove maybe? LOL |

hey, eventually you dont even care anymore. ive had to touch and clean up poo so many times, digging into a toilet (provided its mine of course) barehanded wouldnt be that offensive to me lol
