Flatulence

I am having excessive flatulence. Is this a Crohn's symptom or might it be related to something else. I am on entocort and cipro. I am also feeling a bit distended. Doc thinks I might have a stricture.

Hi rjh. It does sound like you might have a stricture. I'd suggest trying a fluid diet for a few days to see if that helps.
Has the doctor talked about treatment?

I have 5 strictures, and since they have been getting worse I have definitely noticed having more gas. It isn't usually a symptom for me though, so I guess I could reasonably conclude that it is the strictures.

Everyone is different though, have they booked you in for scans? Only with em can you really know for sure.
