I've been taking Humira and Flagyl for about 4 months now. I gradually tapered off Flagyl to just 400mg/day. I was feeling fantastic and my GI said that I could try coming off the Flagyl as I want to have a family. I stopped taking it and a week and a half later I had a massive flare. I couldn't believe it as I was feeling so good. It never entered my mind that I would get sick again. Things have settled down a little but I'm still not 100%.

Has anyone else had this sort of reaction to Fagyl? My GI said that he had never seen anyone so sensitive to it. I can't believe what a difference one little tablet can have. My doc is hoping that my symptoms will settle down and that it's just my body re-adjusting not the crohn's playing up again. I hope he's right!
