Shingles vaccine

Hi...was just wondering if anyone knows if you can get the shingles vaccine while you are on humira? From what I have read it sounds like the answer is no because the vaccine is a live virus and since humira lowers your immunity, you would basically give yourself shingles? Will check with our GI but wondered if anyone on this forum has had the vaccine.

You are right, the answer is no. It is a live vaccine so whilst ever you are in an immunosuppressant, and for three months after cessation, you can’t have it.
