MetaMetrix GI Effects and High SCFA

My MetaMetrix GI Effects test reports high short chain fatty acids (SCFA) which they deduce is caused by not digesting protein. Is it possible for this result to be caused by eating a lot of another kind of food, such as coconut milk, that might raise butyrate levels?
