there are lots of research showing the beneficial impact of curcuminoid extract from tumeric root on inflammatory response. I used to eat 2 spoons of tumeric powder a day for arthritis in the last year without success. However, I recently tried curcuminoid extract sold in health food store (Brand: New Chapter)and miraculously, the next morning, I had a lot of decreased stiffness in my hands. My hypothesis is that tumeric powder is useless as anti-inflammatory, but fresh tumeric root or curcuminoids extract are.
