CT scan and Colonscopy

Hi there, I recently reached out to the gi doctor after experiencing some unpleasant things happening to my body, to the point it was effecting my life.
It started to just be constipation and diarrhea alternating weeks along I with loss of appetite and has turned into recently painful all the time.
My gp rand blood work and my c reactive protien (I think) was high but that has been it. We tried different ibs meds and nothing helped.
Today I have a ct scan and next week my colonoscopy.
I'm just wondering if any one experienced similar things before being diagnosed

Yep. But the other way around. Colonoscopy wasn't conclusive, but the CT scan made it clear.

Symptoms sound much the same too.
