Hope this medicine works. - Crohns Disease Forum - Support group and forum for IBD, Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn's Disease

Have been on several and i mean "Several" different medicines in the past 9 years since my first diagnosis of Crohn's disease. Have had 2 surgeries, one of them was a resection where they removed half my colon and 2/3 of my small intestine. I have never went into remission yet. I have been on Remicade in the past and it has not helped. Now they have me on Cimzia and i am administering my own shots at home. Has anyone else tried this stuff? And has it helped? How long did it take to start working? I have severe rheumatoid arthritis in my hips, knees, and shoulders. And here lately have been losing weight and don't really feel like eating at all. And all of this and I'm only 35 years old... I'm about ready to tell the doc's to just take everything out of me and put a bag on me.

I have been on Cimzia.
Supposedly Remicade is the best out of the three which i have been on em all..
I only got 3-4 months out of it. It may help you though. once a month aint too hard.
