Does anyone know anything about Xeljanz?

I saw a commercial for Xeljanz for RA. Knowing that a lot of meds that are used for both RA and Crohn's, I was wondering if Xeljanz could help Crohn's Disease?

The only concern I have with Xeljanz being used for IBD treatment is the side effect of intestinal and stomach perforations. Since this is already a risk with IBD by itself, it seems a bit risky. Although, if it works then side effects are just a part of the game.

Thanks everyone for your input. The information about the intestinal perforations has definitely got me rethinking even the idea of this medication. I don't know how I missed that one.
