Burning sensation inside belly button

Does anyone know if it is normal to have a burning sensation behind belly button where my incision is? I had surgery back in June of last year.

Surgery done that long ago should not be causing you any problems now.

It could be internal scar tissue that is beginning to stretch (normal). I get a burning/tearing sensation about 6-8 months after each surgery. That's how it is for me, but definitely get it checked out to ensure it is nothing more than that.

Thank you both. I have an appointment to get it checked out on Friday.
