My Support Groups:
Arnica and Crohn's

So, I was at work today and got horrible menstrual cramps. I went to Whole Foods, the only shop within walking distance. I was looking for Tylenol or acetaminophen but they didn't have any. So I got Arnica tablets. They were labeled as homeopathic medicine, but they aren't those tiny pellets you may be thinking of. They were about the size of an aspirin, and you let two dissolve under your tongue. Amazingly, they worked so well. But then I did some research online and saw that if you have Crohn's you should not use Arnica. Here is one link: http://www.rxlist.com/arnica-page2/supplements.htm

Does anyone know scientifically why Arnica is not good for those with Crohn's? I'm super curious now.
