Here's a list of movies I compiled for a friend, most of them you can find streaming or get from netflix. I watch most of them on the toilet, streaming movies work great for me. Anyway, alot of them are NOT for people under 18. Many b movies. Good stuff in my opinion... Here we go:
a simple plan, hellraiser 1, strange days, imaginary heroes, let the right one in, the magdalene sisters, saving grace(the movie 2000), trade, the warriors, antibodies, city of god, solaris(2002), Ben X, cashback, (REC), the life of david gale, murder in the first, the edukators, waking ned devine, pollock, mr. brooks, sex drive, frailty, how to lose friends and alienate people, the machine girl(if you're in the mood for the best of the most ridiculous B style), death becomes her(my favorite bruce willis role), eagle eye, suspiria, the girl next door, artificial intelligence, bad boys(the sean penn 80s version), point break, gattaca, stardust, minority report, dead presidents, forgetting sarah marshal, zack and miri make a porno, the worlds fastest indian, evil, right at your door(don't know if you'd like this one, but i did ), midnight express, my best friend is a vampire, next, earth girls are easy, raising victor vargas, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, lock stock and two smoking barrels, step brothers, full metal jacket, primal fear, falling down, enemy of the state, fallen, groundhogs day, slackers, go, six days and seven nights, strange brew, dancers in the darkantibodies, let the right one in, city of god(i'm pretty sure was excellent), and the madgalene sisters are must watchers. all the other ones are really good for their genres and the times at which they were made. enjoy the madness ![]() p.s. just found tokyo gore police...major B gore movie...Love it like the rob zombie moives (not halloween type stuff) that I forgot to list... I also forgot "The Bad Seed" circa 1956....great stuff....netflix keeps me busy hehe.

thanks Jonhenry.
When my wife got sick, I ponied up and got Netflicks. It's been amazing. When she's too sick to do anything else, she can watch an old TV show or a new movie. I'll be sure to check out your list. |

What city are you near Jester? I've only been to Winnepeg and Toronto....I don't think that represents all of canada.....I'm suprised you don't have netflix there, even the trucking company I used to work for had trucks that drove up there daily....I'd think netflix would at least tap most of North America in some form or another.

I prefer movies that are a little "off the wall". I hate a predictable movie.

Ever see one of those movies where you go, "well, at least they knew exactly what they were making when they started and didn't in any way put on airs or even try to make it seem something more than what it is"? Well, that's one of those movies. It's B grade, if B stood for bent. We watched it drunk the first time and bout died. We watched it the second time sober and bout died.

WHen I shopped for a laptop years ago, I made damn sure it had a movie output connection, primarily S-Video and the headphone jack.
Plugs very easily into any TV sold in the past several years. Streamign Netflix, onto your living room TV - is the bees knees. Wireless Keyboard/Mouse device plugged into the laptop and you can set it up from the couch.
