PrEP & IBD drugs

So, here's a semi-random question.....

A lot of my friends are talking about Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (or PrEP) lately, which is apparently 92% effective at preventing HIV transmission. As awesome as that is... does anyone know if they've done any research into how it interacts with drugs like Humira?

That's a good question, I have a friend on PREP and Humira and can ask what he knows. I'm not sure any research has been done on interactions but there may be a way to try to ascertain its safety profile by existing literature.

I actually ranted on this very subject a few months ago http://www.crohnsforum.com/showthread.php?t=66678

As for my browsing for info today it appears PREP should not increase diarrhea which at least is good news.

You can search drug interactions for all your meds on drugs.com but I'd also discuss it with the doctors.
