• Welcome to Crohn's Forum, a support group for people with all forms of IBD. While this community is not a substitute for doctor's advice and we cannot treat or diagnose, we find being able to communicate with others who have IBD is invaluable as we navigate our struggles and celebrate our successes. We invite you to join us.

Here to introduce myself

Hey everyone, I have had Crohn's disease for 8 years now but until I got severe flare ups from strictures my doctors wouldn't send me for testing so I have only been diagnosed for nearly a year.
I'm currently still waiting for treatment which should happen this Wednesday :emot-dance:
It's been delayed a lot due to moving last year but I'm finally with a good specialist.
I have a lot of other illnesses (heart, lung conditions, CFS, Fibromyalgia etc etc) so this latest diagnosis of crohns (even though I've had it the longest) was like the last straw. But this year I am focusing on my health and getting stable or the dream is "remission" lol.
I am going to fight to get on Remicade but I'm hoping anything will help.
I've been lurking on here for a while and have always wanted to join, everyone seems so nice and I've learnt a lot from this forum (I wasn't told anything about my diagnosis so had to google it).
Well everyone, hi :uk_flag::bigwave:
