Good surgeon near London

Looks like it is likely that I will have to have a panproctocolectomy in a few months. Meds are not working so have a meeting with the surgeon in a few weeks to discuss further. I was wondering whether anyone could provide me with advice...

As someone using the NHS, am I able to choose the surgeon I would like to perform the procedure?
