Something I've noticed recently is that I can't stop belching any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure if it is as severe as what I currently have, but I used to have that constant belching for around a month and it was very annoying and unpleasant, and after having an upper endoscopy done, it turned out I have Crohn's in my stomach.
I hope that your case is not similar to mine, but if this persists, you should discuss undergoing an endoscopy with your doctor.

Thank you Hassan have forced belched for a long while in an attempt to get rid of the abdominal distension but these are different like i can't control them.
I still have this issue, as the ulcers did not heal, yet.
I can totally relate and I understand what you're describing. It sometimes feel as if I'm going to throw up because of those burps, and no matter how many times I release those belches I'm still bloated.
Will persevere with gp's maybe moving quite a way away but been yahooing and found quite a few specialist's around where I'm moving to
