Mark Zuckerberg wants to help eradicate every disease by the end of this century

No mention in the article on researching into IBDs, but hopefully some creative, helpful efforts will be made in finding cause(s) and cures for IBD conditions.

I agree about about the skeptical part, but hope for the best. When I read it, it reminded me of another billionaire, Howard Hughes. Hughes set up the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI). It was designed to research medical science finding cures to all diseases. Well, I just read it was probably originally created as a tax haven for Hughes but it eventually morphed into a large medical research institute spending close to a billion a year.
