Want to try it longer

Wednesday, my specialist wants me to take blood work and a stool sample. These are supposed to be tests to see if the Humira is working. It has been two months since I have started . I have heard where it took four months before it worked. I would like to give it a little longer before we give up on Humira.

Do you think the doc is going to change it if blood work shows inflammation?

Generally, they will tweak the schedule or dose. With humira, they usually move it to a shot every week.

It can take months for humira to work. They can also add other meds if they haven't already.

My son gets blood work every 8 to twelve weeks with humira just to check and make sure all is well but we generally don't change meds since blood work doesn't always real the tale. Usually his meds change with scope or imaging, once with fc.
