Diagnosed with Collagenous colitis

Hello group, I am glad I found this forum. I have been recently diagnosed with Collagenous colitis, my Dr has prescribed Entocort, which since I started taking this medication has helped me, but they want to do more tests.
Medicare will not pay for the Rx and want me to pay out of pocked $1400, I went to Mexico and got the same thing for $45.
Does anyone else here have this?
Thanks
Charles

Welcome,

I hope you find an answer. That difference in price is crazy!

Yes, maybe, I might have the same as you. I forget which type of microscopic colitis I was diagnosed with. The diagnosis was a long time ago.

I've read of others doing the same, buying at a much lower price Entocort that was effective outside of country.

If not already you might check out this chat web sight. It is dedicated to those with MC, CC and LC. Best of luck.
