Hello from London

Hi All,

I hope you're having a fantastic and healthy weekend!

I'm Andy, 28. I was born and raised in Greece and moved to the UK a few years ago. Currently I live in London and work here as a management consultant.

I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease in 2010. Since then, I have been taking mesalazine daily and I was lucky to be in remission for 7 years. Recently, I stopped my medication following my doctor's advice, which resulted in a flare up.

I stumbled upon this forum while researching Crohn's disease and decided to become a member to participate in conversations around IBD and socialise with other Chronies

I am also interested in meeting in person, if anybody is based in London and interested, let me know.

Andy

That's good news. But remember, meds are all trial and error,so what works for some does nothing for others.Don't hesitate to tell your doctor if you're not happy, but give it a few weeks to see if there's any improvement.Best to you.
