Inserting aloe vera and lglutamine into rectum?

For proctitis or rectal inflammation, has anyone tried (or heard of anyone who has tried), using an application to insert narutal healing substances, such as Aloe Vera gel, L-glutamine or others), to naturally heal the inflammation? How were the results? I have very stubborn rectal inflammation that has only partially responded to medications so trying to think of other solutions to complement the medications I am taking.

There is one study from India with Tumeric enemas that has showed interesting results:

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24011514

I remember contacting the team about a year ago and they were working on commercializing the product. But before it comes available to America...

I have been proposed cannabis suppositories at my cannabis medical clinic but havent tried it...
