Hi all,
I have only been diagnosed in October gone, crohns of the small intestine and part of the large bowel - diagnosed on visual from colonoscopy - biopsies were clear. I was started on pentasa, 3g daily - did this for 5 weeks adn had to stop as it tore the stomach out of me and then I ended up on protium 40 twice daily to repair this. I was then put on Questran which was horrid and really did not agree, v constipated and bloated etc so stoppped this. I am now this morning put on motilium 3 times daily, and zoton at night and am awaiting a clinic appointmetn at gastro. It seems to be a lot of my stomach to be the prob, feeling sick a lot adn esp in the mornings until lunchtime and then it eases. I dont suffer from diahorrea every day, had a dose today now after a sambo at lunch so hopefully ok soon. I would get a bad flare that would last a week to 10 days, and I have urgency problems with the toilet that when I have to go I have to go now etc. Look forward to any opinions or advice. Cheers |

Maybe the doctor needs to take a look at the inside of your stomach with a scope? I hope you feel better Minky.
