Personality Traits

I have been finding a common thread amongst the CD people I know. What I would like to see if you have the same traits as I and most of the CD people I know.
1. Do you verbalise when you have something to say or internalise?
2. Do you put others feeling before your own?
3. Do you procrastinate on some tasks?
4. Leader or Follower?
5. Do you work/play in a field such as Engineering, sciences or small business owner?
I will fill you in on my answers later and some info about a few CD people I know.

I have heard that there are simular characteristics from some, and then from others that there are not really any simular characteristics between people with Crohn's Disease.

1. I usually in the past have internalized
2. I try to
3. I used to, but really have worked to stop that from happening
4. hmm.... I guess I will say follower, but I really would not say that I look to others for cues on what to do or how to act. But then again I am not leading anyone either
5. I am currently a student. I guess I would fit in closest with small business owner as I am a business student, but really my plan is to work for a corporation (but that of course can change)

1. I internalize everything and never let anything out
2. I seem to always put other people before me but I am trying to stop that.
3. I am a procrastinator and I am not stopping that since I am suppoed to write a paper for tomorrow, not for school, and I have not started it yet.
4. It depends on what I am doing I am usually a follower but at some times I am a teacher and a leader
5. I am a student but am going to college for a science degree

Sounds like this is a good case for a poll. Maybe something to post & correlate #s

1 i verbalize on pretty much everything but used to internalize as a kid
2 i pretty much always put others before myself
3 yeah if i dont want to do it can take ages forme to do it but i imagine thats normal
4 i tend not to be either i am an indervidual but if needed to i can fall into both catagories reasonably easily
5 yeah im a science freak

so im interested in what you have noticed about crohns people and personality

Answers to your questions as requested:

1. I verbalise when I have something to say
2. I am outspoken but I do consider other peoples feelings, I tend to focus on what other people think above anything
3. I often more than 1 thing at once and therefore swap between the 2 /3 things I am doing. Not the most practical way I know but its what comes to mind at the time
4. Leader - defo, unless of course I start to get paranoid and then I can alienate myself
5. I work in customer service

Big time! I consider it my worst trait.

Defined by scenario. If it's an area I'm confident in, I lead. If not, I sit back.

Small business owner, pest control. Some chemistry& structural engineering,
lots of entomology & mammalian biology involved.

4. Both, I am both business owner and employee. But by nature I am an independent. I go my own way and do not like to be directed. Nor, do I like to direct others.

A little of both. It depends on the situation. I have tact, but I also speak my mind when it's wise to.

Yup, most times.

Absertutely. I'm procrastinating on at least three things right now.

4. Leader or Follower?

Depends. I hate to lead, but will if I have to. I'm more the advisor type person.

None of the above. I ruined my body and soul in manual labor retail positions and recently started trying to chase my dream of becoming a novelist. I wish I had the knowledge to work in Engineering or sciences. I'd be making more money.
