Default Sharing the cuteness

OMG! I was searching for some pictures of my favourite animals for a project I am doing and had to share some of these ones!

They are hedgehogs for those US citizens who may not be familiar with them!

I love them In the summer they sneak around at night and eat the cat food so I strted feeding them. They come every evening and are so cute with all their snorting and snuffling. Do you have them in the US? May be a silly question but I thought maybe not?

They really are just adorable. We have them, but I always see them advertised as pets? I've never seen them in the wild. I've always wanted one, lol.

Pets? Nope, they are 'wild' here, usually hang around in people's gardens. They wouldn't make very cuddly pets as they are not nice to touch!

I've never touched their bodies, but they do look as if it'd be painful, lol. How cute as their faces though? I could kiss them all day! LOL

hegehogs carry ticks and things, we have them in our garden in the summer.
when my demented cat saw them last summer he thought that they were a plaything. he didnt understand that everytime he patted them their prickles hurt him, so he carried patting them and carryied on getting hurt!!!
i like them in the garden though as they eat the slugs and snails which eat my flowers..

They are very cute!! But I am glad that they do not run wild in New York if they have ticks and fleas on them! We have enough animals running around here with germs, ticks, and diseases. But they are adorable

Soooo cute! The "Anne Geddes" type shot is hilarious. Shaz - is the top picture what they look like full grown? Do they have teeth?

These are all baby ones. They aren's as cute when grown up! Also I think some of these ones and different breeds to what we have here as ours are all a darker colour.

Here's a couple of more grown up ones:

They definately have teeth! I think they are rodents? You should hear I have a few 'regulars' at the moment and see them every evening. The cat looks confused by them!

I think people may have them as pets. Dunno. There are people here who 'rescue' them though.
I actually think some of those pics may actually be baby porcupines, Pen, not sure as they all looked the same!!!

My son read a story in school named "Mr. Hedgehog Bakes a Cake". He loved the pictures.
